July Workshop Weekend

Hosted by Green River Pottery in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Four days in our air-conditioned studio at the height of the summer Arts season in Santa Fe. Sign up for graphite & charcoal drawing (afternoons) or wheel-throwing (mornings) - or sign up for both! We will also find time for field trips & gallery visits.

Our goals will be inspiration, new ideas & encounters with beautiful art, enriched technical skills & design sensibility. Great if you have an on-going studio practice or a job teaching art - and the course provides 30 hours of professional development if you are teaching in the Public Schools & maintaining your licence - or, the weekend is also great if you are fairly new to art & seeking an inspiring immersive experience.

Instructional sessions run three hours each day (July 25 - 27) and the fourth day - Sunday July 28 - is Open Studio (from 9-noon) with both teachers available for coaching, critique, continued work. Clay students will have the opportunity to glaze some of their bisque-fired work on Sunday.
